Pakistani Islamic Leader: Iran Will End the War Israel Illegally Started

Naqvi emphasized that while Iran exercised maximum restraint to avoid conflict, it was the Israeli regime that initiated a full-scale war, violating international laws and norms.

Islamabad – In a statement, Hujjat al-Islam Syed Hassan Zafar Naqvi, Central Secretary General of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Assembly, condemned the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran and declared that the Islamic Republic will determine the end of this imposed war.

Naqvi emphasized that while Iran exercised maximum restraint to avoid conflict, it was the Israeli regime that initiated a full-scale war, violating international laws and norms.

“This war was not Iran’s choice,” he said. “It was forced upon a nation that has always stood for peace and dignity. But now, it will be Iran that decides how and when it ends.”

He drew a sharp contrast between the aggressors and the resistance front, stating:

“Those who started the war are now hiding in bunkers and shelters, while the resilient Iranian people fill the streets with chants of ‘Allahu Akbar,’ standing with pride and unshakable resolve.

Naqvi commended the Pakistani government’s support for Iran’s legitimate position, calling its stance “courageous, responsible, and commendable.” He also appreciated Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for taking firm positions and urged other Islamic countries to clearly and forcefully condemn Israel’s aggression.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran never sought war. But when the Zionist regime’s hostility peaked, Iran had no choice but to respond. Now, it is Iran—grounded in faith and resistance—that will bring this unjust war to a close. The Zionists and their American allies fear death, while the believers see martyrdom in the path of truth as a badge of honor.”

Naqvi also addressed internal challenges, warning of opportunistic elements within Iran that may have unintentionally emboldened the enemy.

“If certain misled and opportunistic domestic currents had not aligned with enemy narratives, Israel’s aggression could have been repelled more decisively from the outset.”

He concluded with a sharp warning about international hypocrisy, stating:

“As soon as Iran’s counterattack escalates, the Zionist regime’s cries will echo worldwide. And then, America and its allies will rush to the UN Security Council—seeking support for a regime that has trampled international law. The world will once again witness the double standards of this so-called international order.”
