Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan Condemns Zionist Attack on Iran, Announces Nationwide Protests

ISLAMABAD – The head of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, Hujjat al-Islam Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, has strongly condemned the recent attack by the Zionist regime on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi denounced the Israeli assault as a blatant act of aggression against a brotherly Islamic nation. “Colonialism cannot tolerate the existence of freedom anywhere in the world,” he stated. “All advocates of justice and freedom must unequivocally condemn this arrogant and provocative attack.”

Highlighting the broader geopolitical implications, he said, “The Israeli strike clearly demonstrates that global arrogance and its regional proxies are committed to destabilizing peace and security across the world.” He expressed profound grief over the casualties and damage inflicted on civilian areas in Iran, noting reports of the martyrdom of military commanders, scientists, and innocent civilians as deeply distressing.

“The Pakistani nation shares in the sorrow of our Iranian brothers and sisters,” Naqvi said. “We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and to the people of Iran.”

He warned that the attack is an attempt by Israel to escalate tensions and plunge the region into deeper instability. “The Zionist regime, with backing from colonial powers, is deliberately fueling unrest in pursuit of its sinister objectives. This regime has become a threat to regional peace and must be held accountable.”

The Shia Ulema Council has called on all citizens to participate in peaceful protests across the country this Friday to show solidarity with Iran and to denounce the aggression.
