On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the passing of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), a grand gathering was held by the Shia Sharia Association of Jammu and Kashmir, Badgam, with the widespread presence of scholars, thinkers, poets and various segments of believers.
At the end of the event, Dr. Omar Farooq, delivered a special speech explaining the various dimensions of Imam Khomeini’s (RA) religious, political, and social personality and emphasized that the wise leader, through his revolutionary efforts, resonated with the message of unity and brotherhood in the Islamic world; a message that continues to illuminate the path of the Islamic Ummah.
Also, during the ceremony, a special message from the representative of the Supreme Leader in India, Hujjat al-Islam Abdul Majeed Hakimullahi, was read out to the faithful people of Kashmir, which was well received by the attendees.
