the International Online Conference of Chicago Baqi Organization was held with the presence of prominent scholars from India, Iran, U.S., Norway and Tanzania. The participants called for the immediate reconstruction of the holy graves of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) in Jannat al-Baqi Cemetery in Medina.
In the opening speech, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Mahboob Mahdi Abedi, head of Chicago Baqi Organization, referred to the success of the global protests against the destruction of Jannat Al-Baqi and stated,” This victory belongs to all believers, since this issue is the common pain of all lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT).”

He emphasized that next year coincides with the 100th anniversary of the destruction of Jannat al-Baqi, and we must prepare for historic demonstrations around the world from now on.
Call to Commemorate Baqi 10-Days
Hujjat al-Islam Shamshad Hussain Razavi from Norway, pointing out the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Jafar Sadiq (PBUH), suggested that the 15th to 25th of Shawwal be designated as the Decade of Baqi, so that during these days, preachers and scholars can explain the position of Imam Sadiq (PBUH) and the issue of Baqi.
He added,” Imam Sadiq (PBUH) was the teacher of Imam Abu Hanifa, and this connection can also bring Sunnis closer to this spiritual movement.”

At the end, Hujjat al-Islam Aslam Razavi from Pune stated,” The movement that began with the support of the beloved Hujjat al-Islam Mahbub Mahdi Abedi has now reached people’s homes and will continue until the reconstruction of Jannat al-Baqi.”
